Dear Kimberly,

You see that jacket I am wearing on Wednesday?

That is the jacket I was convinced didn't fit me but for three bucks at Walmart it was too cute and too good a deal to pass up.... and I thought I could just give it to someone I know.

Also it was the same one that you tried to hide from me so I wouldn't buy it. And then you stole my wallet so I wouldn't buy it.

Well, obviously, I bought it. And I love it. It's my new favorite (besides that dress I'm wearing on Sunday.)

And it turns out that I can squeeze into it if I wear a tank top and not a long sleeve shirt underneath it!

I am now glad that I listened to my inner shopping devil instead of my angel little sister.

Don't feel too bad about that though, the inner shopping devil almost always wins those kinds of arguments.

Dear Kimmy,

Brooklyn is a little confused today.

She thinks it is sunny and that we are going outside. That is why she has been putting on the sunglasses you gave her all day.

She is wrong. It is snowing and we are staying inside.

Maybe this her way of telling me she wants to go to sunny Florida to visit her aunt Kimmy. I'm sure you agree with that.

I wish we could come visit you. We miss you so much.

TO THE RESCUE

Dear Kimberly,

Thanks for coming over to help out with Brooklyn since my back was hurting.

If I knew she was going to go to sleep before you got here and then sleep for over four hours then I wouldn't have had you come so soon. But I appreciate it anyways. It was nice to have our "Friday morning date" back, especially since you will only live so close for a couple more months.

I'm glad you were here for Brooklyn's first time saying "da da." It was so cute.

Also, thanks for helping me with my project. You're awesome.
