Dear Kurt,
I'm all packed and ready to go.
In a few short hours I will be on a plane headed for Southern California.
I am super excited! I can't wait to see my family.
I hope they let Brooklyn on the plane. Us, being the inexperienced flyers and dumb first-time parents that we are, didn't realize that we never order Brooklyn's birth certificate.
Hopefully, one of the other ten legit documents I have will get her on that plane.
But if not, I am fully prepared to beg, plead or cause a scene.
I wish you could come with us, but you have work and school and someone in this family has to be the responsible one.
We will miss you!
